Ulthuan Marches on!
By Alex West
Not too much to report this time round.
Plenty has been done on the painting front with the helms being finished off along with a chariot and a commander having a paint job tweaked so I can use him until I finish off the characters. You can see the results of the painting in the pics.
On the gaming front only 1 game has been played but it was against VC which are always going to be hard.
In this case it was against Ben Brooks who was going to the GW final. You may recognise the name because he won best army there, a great achievement.
The game before was a different story however. For once I managed to pass most of my fear tests and with 'typical elven trickery' managed to draw his battle line out of position and pick on units crushing them utterly. In the end I lost very little and ended up with a solid victory, a couple of vp's off a massacre. I was pleased with that as A - it was designed to go to a GWGT and B- things that don't break and flee are a nightmare to face with all cav!
Anyway, I hope to have more games played by the update and lots of stuff painted, assuming I get to go to the campaign weekend. Fingers crossed eh?
